Solar Panel Installation in Webster Groves, MO

Cox Solar Solutions designs and installs solar for homeowners and businesses in Webster Groves and throughout St. Louis County. Every system is engineered for your roof, your annual usage, and the Missouri rules that apply to Webster Groves homes today.

Ameren Missouri nets your solar production against your usage each billing period under Missouri's Net Metering and Easy Connection Act. Excess production is credited at Ameren's avoided-fuel-cost rate (currently 3.84¢/kWh in summer and 3.39¢/kWh in winter), well below the retail rate, so we size systems to offset your own usage rather than to export power.

Choosing an installer matters as much as choosing equipment. Before you sign, make sure your installer:

Missouri doesn't offer a state solar rebate, and Ameren Missouri's solar rebate program closed at the end of 2023. The federal residential solar tax credit also ended for systems installed after 2025. What still makes solar pay off in Webster Groves is offsetting the power you would otherwise buy from Ameren Missouri at retail rates.

Because excess production is credited at a low avoided-cost rate, the right system for a Webster Groves home is sized to your 12-month usage, often paired with a battery so more of your solar is used in the evening. You can pay cash or finance the system with a solar loan.

Solar panels stay on a roof for 25 years or more, so the roof under them should last as long. Through Cox Roofing & Restoration, we can inspect your roof, repair or replace it, and install solar as one coordinated project, which avoids paying to remove and reinstall panels later.

Severe summer storms and winter weather can knock out power across St. Louis County. A home battery keeps essentials like the sump pump, refrigerator, furnace blower, and Wi-Fi running, and lets you use more of your own solar in the evening.
