About Us
The Cox Solar Difference
We started Cox Solar Solutions to give homeowners in Illinois and the St. Louis area a straightforward, trustworthy way to go solar.
Who We Are
A Midwest Solar Company Built on Trust
Cox Solar Solutions designs and installs solar, battery storage, and EV charging for homes and businesses across Illinois and the St. Louis, Missouri area. We're part of the Cox Roofing & Restoration family, so roof work and solar can be handled by one company. We've built our reputation on telling customers the truth about what solar will — and won't — do for them.
Solar rules keep moving: Illinois net metering changed in 2025, the federal residential credit ended, Illinois Shines updates every program year, and Ameren Missouri credits exports at its own avoided-cost rate. Our job is to keep up with all of it so you don't have to.
