Solar Pergola & Carport Installation in St. Charles, MO

Shade structures, pergolas, and carports topped with solar — ideal when your roof is shaded or limited. We serve St. Charles and surrounding St. Charles County communities with design, permitting, utility paperwork, and installation handled by one team.

Mature trees, complex roof lines, or a north-facing roof don't have to rule out solar. A solar pergola over your patio, a carport over your driveway, or a ground-mount array in your yard can be oriented for maximum production while adding useful outdoor space.

Every structure is engineered and permitted for your site.

Ameren Missouri nets your solar production against your usage each billing period under Missouri's Net Metering and Easy Connection Act. Excess production is credited at Ameren's avoided-fuel-cost rate (currently 3.84¢/kWh in summer and 3.39¢/kWh in winter), well below the retail rate, so we size systems to offset your own usage rather than to export power.

Missouri doesn't offer a state solar rebate, and Ameren Missouri's solar rebate program closed at the end of 2023. The federal residential solar tax credit also ended for systems installed after 2025. What still makes solar pay off in St. Charles is offsetting the power you would otherwise buy from Ameren Missouri at retail rates.

Because excess production is credited at a low avoided-cost rate, the right system for a St. Charles home is sized to your 12-month usage, often paired with a battery so more of your solar is used in the evening. You can pay cash or finance the system with a solar loan.
